Important Notice: 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course Guidelines

To attend the course, students must present one of the following: a valid New York Photo Learner Permit or a current interim permit with a New York State Government-issued ID card (such as a Non-Driver ID Card, an expired New York Photo Permit, or an expired New York Photo License).

Only the photo learner permit or a New York photo ID will be accepted as valid identification.

Students who arrive late will NOT be allowed to participate as per DMV regulations - NO REFUNDS

• Cancellations or rescheduling must be done within 24 hours; beyond this period, the fee is non-refundable.
• Payments are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
• Refunds require 7-10 days for processing and are subject to a 10% inconvenience fee (minimum $10).
• If your certificate has expired (valid for 1 year from the date issued), you must retake the course.
• If a certificate is lost, a $25 fee is required for a duplicate, which must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
• After 24 hours, all purchases are final.

5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course, Driving Lessons and Road Test Cancellation Policy:

• If a student cancels a driving lesson or road test less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the lesson is forfeited and no refund will be provided.
• Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours in advance; beyond this period, the fee is non-refundable.

Rescheduling Driving Lessons

If you need to reschedule a lesson, please contact the driving school at 917-648-0740 and your driving instructor at least 24 hours in advance. Be sure to also send this information via SMS to have confirmation that your lesson has been canceled or rescheduled. If you do not send an SMS confirmation of the cancellation at least 24 hours in advance, the lesson will be considered completed, and no refund will be provided.

Delivery

Attention! By choosing the 5-hour certificate delivery by mail, you agree that the driving school is not responsible for the delivery of the 5-hour certificate. The delivery time for premium mail is up to three days. If you are waiting longer, you need to contact your local post office. The driving school has no control over the postal service. We send all students a photo confirmation on the day the letter is mailed. Postal officials recommend contacting the post office if you have not received the certificate within 5 days of dispatch.

Road Test Rules

Attention: If you do not possess sufficient driving skills and have purchased a package that includes the provision of a vehicle for the road test, the driving schools instructor reserves the right to refuse to provide you with a vehicle for the road test if you lack adequate driving skills. In such a case, we can either schedule a new appointment for you at no additional cost, or we will refund your payment for the vehicle not provided for the road test.
