5 hour course in Brooklyn Coreway LLC

Program Overview

Our interactive 5-hour online pre-licensing course in Brooklyn covers everything new drivers ages 16+ need to know before getting behind the wheel in New York State. Approved and monitored by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles, our course satisfies state requirements so you can schedule your road test right after completion.

Obtaining your driver's license in Brooklyn New York State means first completing our DMV-approved 5 Hour Online Pre-Licensing Course - no exceptions. Here are the specific permit-holders that must complete our program:

Enrolling is Easy

Sign up and pay for our 5-hour online course through our simple registration form. Just provide your contact details and upload a picture of your learner's permit.

After registering, you'll receive an email with instructions for accessing the course as well as the Zoom link for the live instructor session. We'll also send you a form to indicate how you would like to receive your completion certificate.

Course Fees

The course fee is $50. This includes:

  • 5 hours of online instructional content
  • Live interactive session with instructor
  • MV-278 completion certificate

Additional Options:

We accept all major credit cards. And don't forget - this course fee may be eligible for reimbursement by your insurance once licensed!

Materials Required

To enroll in our online 5-hour pre-licensing course, you must have:

  • A valid New York State learner's permit (either the paper permit or plastic photo permit card)
  • If you only have the paper permit, you also need a valid New York State ID card
  • A computer, phone, or tablet to access the online course content
  • Internet access to stream videos and join the live Zoom session
  • A valid credit/debit card to pay the course fee

On the day of the live instructor session via Zoom, please have:

  • Your learner's permit available to verify your identity
  • Paper and pen/pencil to take notes
  • Your camera enabled for participation

  • When will I receive the Zoom link and materials to access the course?

    You will receive the Zoom link and login information to our learning portal via email within an hour of registering for the course.

  • What documents do I need on hand to take the course?

    Please have your valid NY learner's permit (plastic or paper) and NY state ID if you only have the paper permit. These are needed to verify your identity.

  • Can I take this course using a mobile device?

    Yes, our online course can be accessed on any modern smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. As long as you have internet access, you can take the course from anywhere.

  • How long is my completion certificate valid for?

    The MV-278 completion certificate is valid for 1 year from the issued date. You must schedule a road test before it expires.

  • I lost my certificate - can I get another copy?

    Yes! If you contact us within a year of taking the course, we can issue a replacement completion certificate for a $35 fee.

  • Do I have to complete the whole 5 hours at once?

    No, our online course allows you to learn at your own pace. The live Zoom session with the instructor is 2 hours and required to be taken in one sitting.
