Registration & Fee
Sign up and pay for our 5-hour online course through our simple registration form. Just provide your contact details and upload a picture of your learner's permit.
After registering, you'll receive an email with instructions for accessing the course as well as the Zoom link for the live instructor session. We'll also send you a form to indicate how you would like to receive your completion certificate.
Course Fees
The course fee is $40. This includes:
- 5 hours of online instructional content
- Live interactive session with instructor
- MV-278 completion certificate

We accept all major credit cards. And don't forget - this course fee may be eligible for reimbursement by your insurance once licensed!
Materials Required
To enroll in our online 5-hour pre-licensing course, you must have:
- A valid New York State learner's permit (either the paper permit or plastic photo permit card)
- If you only have the paper permit, you also need a valid New York State ID card
- A computer, phone, or tablet to access the online course content
- Internet access to stream videos and join the live Zoom session
- A valid credit/debit card to pay the course fee
On the day of the live instructor session via Zoom, please have:
- Your learner's permit available to verify your identity
- Paper and pen/pencil to take notes
- Your camera enabled for participation
